Beeing a decent photographer means making consistantly good picutres. Beeing a good photographer means making consistantly better pictures. Beeing an awesome photographer means taking risks and go beyond, even if it means to jeopardise a whole setting,... once in a while at least. In other words, you'll never learn how to swim if you always carry your waterwings around. For that reason, I mounted my 50mm f/1.4 prime lense, manual focussing of course, with a depth of field of one centimeter and "rolled the dice".
